Little Men
Sam decided to "rock" Luke while I finished up some laundry. He has been such a huge help these days!! (Just click the play arrow below.)

Huntin' more eggs...

Our neighborhood had a big Easter "Eggstravaganza" for the kids, complete with 12,000 prize-filled eggs, bouncies, pony rides and more! The temperature was 72 degrees, so the kids had an amazing March afternoon.

Growing boy

Luke had a check-up today and we couldn't wait to see how much he's grown. Well, to our surprise he has gained 13 oz. and over an inch in the last 9 days! I could tell he was getting a little heavier, but never imagined it was that much. (His doctor was most impressed!)
I guess I really shouldn't be shocked since I produce about as much as the Mayfield Dairy and he definitely loves to eat!

Mountain climber

Sam and his daddy climbed Kennesaw Mountain today, and are already eager to return. Sam carried his "backpack of supplies" all the way to the top. Then, they stopped to have a snack before heading down.

Waiting patiently...

Sam is so excited that we will soon bring Luke home to his beautiful room! Today he named all the things that he wanted to do with his little brother...
1. go to Disney World
2. run through the sprinklers
3. take a bath
4. go camping
5. build sandcastles
6. hunt Easter eggs
7. play hide-and-seek
8. slide at the park

Sam sleeps soundly!

Sam played hard at the park with his friend Cassidy, so he was pretty tired last night. He refused to believe me, though, when I said we should go up to bed. I woke him up and he said (in a very sleepy voice), "No...no...I'm not tired."
Well, after that he was out like a light so I decided to have some fun. I started putting stuff on his head and he never moved a muscle. You can see the result!

Spring has sprung!

The weather this weekend is just beautiful...temps near 70 and a warm, bright sun! (We all have rosy cheeks to prove it.)
We spent the afternoon at Lake Acworth/Cauble Park. We fished, fed the ducks & geese and strolled along the beach. It was definitely a nice distraction from my constant contractions and hip pain!
Unfortunately, it's giving me the itch, though. I am really ready for long, sunny days.

Home Depot Kids Workshop

Every month Sam attends the Home Depot Kids Workshop, but it's always a father-son-activity. Today, however, Sam asked if I would go and "do the glue". Naturally, I said yes.
The project was a really cute race car!
