Big Weekend

Sam was able to play with his friend, Cassidy, nearly all day on Friday. Then, he and Neil went to the NorthStar men's cookout / camp out, where they stayed and played for 5 hours. And, Saturday we all attended Touch-A-Truck. Sam loves the garbage truck and the street sweeper, but this year he had a lot of fun on the power truck!

Miss Donna!

Sam's teacher from last year came to visit and meet Luke! She was excited to see how big he has gotten.

Spring Camping

Neil took Sam to the family camp out in our neighborhood. (The wagon was stuffed when they headed out!)

6 weeks!!

At this moment, Luke is 6 weeks old!!! He is such a joy, and we are all having fun watching his belly grow!

Chilly Spring Days

The temps have been cooler than we've grown accustom to, and the pollen is off the charts. That means we have to amuse ourselves indoors. Here are two of the ways we're doing that:

1. Sam's interpretive dancing - He has the rythm of any white boy, but he sure is handsome!

2. Playing dress-up with Luke - Don't ya just love his little jeans!?

Visiting Augusta

Neil invited his brothers and a friend down for The Masters. The weather was good and the azaleas were blooming!

I can moo! Can you?

It's official. I am part cow. (Holstein to be exact!)

We learned yesterday that Luke has gained 2 lbs. 12 oz. in a little over 2 weeks. I guess that explains the arm fatigue I've recently experienced after feedings!

This all amazes us because Sam was the complete opposite. He ate well, too, but never gained much. It seemed like we were always waiting for him to reach a certain weight...10 lbs., 20 lbs., etc. Luke is almost 11 lbs. at 5 weeks.

Sam loves to take pictures with our camera. (Santa will be bringing him his own for Christmas!) Today he asked if he could "take some for the blog", so here they are!

Say Uncle

Neil invited his brothers, Jeff and Phil, down for The Masters. We had a bbq so they could spend time with the boys. As you can see, Sam had a great time!

(Looks like it's going to be perfect weather for The Masters this year!!)

The boys are back in town...

Neil took Sam to a bbq/party to see some friends that are visiting from NY. There was no shortage of little ones, so it made for a fun time!

I stayed home and fed Luke. (That's all I seem to do these days!) That boy is getting big.

4 fun weeks!

It's hard to believe that it has already been 4 weeks since little Luke's birth! We have so enjoyed seeing him grow. He's getting stronger each day, and I'm already thinking that he will walk at 9 months just like Sam.

Faster than a speeding bullet?

I was laying Luke down for a nap and heard a strange noise coming from Sam's playroom. He had put on his Superman suit, which uses a small fan to create "muscles". Sam was originally afraid of it b/c of the noise, but now it's one of his favorite costumes. (He LOVES costumes!)
