Mama paints, too!

We had a wonderful "Moms Night Out" at a new place here in Kennesaw. It's called Swirls Art and it's a studio where you can paint while getting step-by-step instructions and sipping wine! We did the "Poppies at Sunset" painting.
See if you can guess which one is mine...ha ha ha!

Madison turned 5!!

We had a great time at Madison's "beach bash" birthday party! There was plenty of wet fun and a very cool craft for Sam, and Luke got tons of loving from Grandpa and Grandma Underwood.

Cuddled up!

Luke prefers to lie down to nurse, so that's what we were doing when Abby decided to take a catnap. She immediately wedged herself behind him and started purring. Ten minutes later they were both snoozing soundly!

Chilling out!

We had to have a plumber come look at our hot water tank because it was misbehaving. It turned out that he needed to replace a part, which made Sam happy because he loves to watch people work on things.

This is how I found him about 15 minutes into the repair!

Behind the scenes

Today we joined our moms group for a tour of Publix. It was really neat.

Everyone got treats along the way, which included a piece of chicken from the deli, a slice of watermelon from the produce department, a freezer pop from the big freezer and a cupcake from the bakery. (You can't beat a free lunch!) And, on the way out, all the kids were given balloons and goody bags.

Fun! Fun! Fun!

We went to the coolest place! It's called Southern Prep Academy and it has in-ground trampolines, a huge foam pit, a zip-line, a rope to swing on, bouncies, tons of bars and mats, etc. Like I said, it's the coolest place. Luke even enjoyed it. There was just so much to see!

Sam went to play with his friends Cassidy and Madison (he loves the ladies), but it turned out that several more friends/neighbors were there when we arrived.

A brand new Lullwater Main!

We've really enjoyed the past few days on our street. It was repaved and Sam loved seeing all of the big machines/trucks right in front of our house. Of course, it made me curious, so I had to do a little research. (Click here if you are interested in the steps.)

The new road looks great and it's so smooth. I think it even makes our grass look greener!

Father's Day Fishing

Neil woke Sam up early to head over to a stocked pond near us called The Dugout. They bought real worms this time, which the fish apparently loved. It wasn't until right before they left that it happened, though. Sam caught his first fish!!! (I hear it was six inches long.)

Spring blooms!

Blue Hydrangea

Asiatic Lily (my pride & joy)

Easter Lily (42" tall!)

Tawny Daylily

Since we actually got a little rain this Spring, our flower garden has been beautiful! I only have the blooms that I love, which are hydrangeas and lilies!

My big boy!

Luke will be 3 months on Friday!! Can you believe it? I can't.

He is such a sweet baby, with a very "easy-going" attitude. We all just adore him!
