Tim Hawkins was the comedian and he was absolutely hilarious. Seriously. We haven't laughed like that in a long time, so I had to get a photo with him.

Today is the last day of school for Sam. I've already scheduled playdates and fun outings because I know he's going to get very bored over the next 2 weeks. I'm, however, super excited that I don't have to wake up to my annoying alarm for 2 weeks!

Sam did a little book-exchange with his friend, Cali, again this year. He was soooo happy with both of the books that he received and immediately "read" them to me.
I received a little something special in the package, as well, and LOVE it...
Cali lives in Alaska, so she sent this adorable igloo nativity!------------
This week, I've really enjoyed all of our Christmas decorations. It seems like my house is finally in some sort of order, so I'm no longer bugged by boxes or all of the stuff that I need to do. I posted a bunch of pics on Wednesday, so if you want to see what we have up, click HERE.
Now, I'm looking forward to doing some baking and wrapping.

Neil and I have another date-night tomorrow. We're taking our beautiful friends, Matt & Beth, to a comedy show at our church. It's, TIM HAWKINS.
He's definitely a Christian, but he's definitely funny, too!

Dream Land had a beautiful memorial this week for all of the pets that passed in 2009. Abby and Aja were featured in a lovely presentation and we received these ornaments with their oh-so-pretty faces.

Sam has a pajama-party-movie-night at his school tonight. He was excited not only to watch Polar Express with his friends, but also to show off his cute Santa pajamas.
I'm proud of him for even wanting to do it (for 3 hours). He's really grown up a lot during these 4 months of Kindergarten!

How was your Black Friday???
It's not really my thing, but we did head over to a favorite thrift store of mine. They always have great treasures to be found, and on Friday everything in the store was 50% off! I got the boys (and myself) so much great stuff and didn't even pay $50 total.
In fact, I think we left with 18 items, which were all name brands. Here are my favorite buys, tho...
For Luke...all 3 pieces totaled $5.71
For me...just under $4 for BOTH____________
I received a totally random package in the mail this week. It was 4 used books sent from Lakewood, WA. No note and no name on the return address, which was a PO Box, by the way.
The books weren't even anything that I would typically read. Call me stumped and bummed.

We are getting up our Christmas decorations slowly-but-surely. It seems like it used to be more fun. Of course, I didn't always have SO much stuff.

Sam is doing fine!! Thank you for all of the nice comments, emails and prayers. The doctor isn't sure what was going on, but it seems to be resolving with the antibiotic.

Sweet Sara at The OmniCouple gave me an award and now I shall pass it on. The rules state that I need to choose 10 blogs, but I'm kind of a rule breaker, and I want to just pick 3 women that I really think deserve it.

I received my Secret Santa package this week and love it! My partner did a great job and I want to say a big THANK YOU!!
Love the ornament, candy (YUM!) and beads a ton. Oh, and I use that elf lip balm everyday. Seriously. I can't wait to find out who YOU are! Great job.

And, I can't think of a better way to end this FF episode than to say, "I HAVE 100 FOLLOWERS!!"
I'm a bit excited, considering I started this blog for my in-laws. (Just wanted them to see the boys more since they are all in NY. We are in GA.) Now, I have a bunch of new friends...from all over the world.
