XOXO!

Floral Frenzy

We had a beautiful weekend (but HOT), so we spent
much of it outside.  And, since all the lovely blooms
won't last much longer, I wanted to snap some floral
photos of our area.  First stop, my lilies...

Oh, how I love these fellows!

Neil came in Friday night with a huge bouquet for
moi.  I decided to put them in a sand bucket, so
we could enjoy them on our patio...

The colors are extraordinary.

We went over to my parents' home for a little grillin'
and my dad's oleander was at it's best...

Just like being in Florida!

We are so fortunate to live on a few miles from
Smith-Gilbert Gardens.  The boys love to stroll
through the trees, flowers, shrubs and garden.  I
love all of the little birdhouses and feeders...

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

1.  Classic Still Life

(Yep...a bowl of fruit!)

2.  Self-portrait

(My 10 painted piggies LOVE flip-flop season.)

3.  On the floor driveway

(We love our chalk.)

4.  Lines

(I immediately thought of my mission style furniture for
this prompt.  Molly was trying to escape the paparazzi.)

(I wanted to include one of Luke's lines, too.)

5.  Fresh

(What's better than fresh veggies from the backyard?)

(Tiny tomatoes are so cute with their "fuzz".)

School's out for the Cub Scout

Yep...school's officially out!  And, Sam just received
his Tiger Cub badge.  Lot's of excitement here...

It was a hot night in GA, but the kids had a great time...

And, now I have a little sewing to do...

I have to post another pic of my 2011 hydrangeas.  They
are just glorious this year and Wednesday evening, as the
sun was dropping, I couldn't help but grab my camera...

Don't ya love green grass?

We sure do...and pretty much every other part of
being outside.  In fact, we spend much of our days
playing in the backyard...

We blow a lot of bubbles (and take a lot of photos),
so have a nice green lawn is definitely a good thing.
We have Bermuda sod, which LOVES the warm
sun, but we have many shaded areas....so we're
trying Scotts Turf Builder.  And, it's so easy to use:

Apply to wet or dry lawn...any grass, any season.
(When temperatures are consistently exceeding
90°, water immediately after application to reduce
stress on your lawn.) ***For best results, use a
Scotts® spreader and feed every 6-8 weeks.

The benefits sound great, too...
      • Feeds and thickens to crowd out weeds.
      • Kid and pet friendly.
      • Feeds and strengthens against heat and drought.
      • Water Smart® improves lawn's ability to absorb water & nutrients.

These photos were taken on May 20th.
Can't wait to see it in a month!

I was provided this product free of charge from One2One
Network, in exchange for an honest review.  My words are
my own and were not influenced in any manner.

    The beginning of the end...

School is out on Wednesday.  (Yes.  We do it early
in GA.)  And, of course, it's already HOT.  No
more classes, but a lot of fun in the sun...

Oh, how I love my hydrangeas!

    Sweet Shot Day

I even love them before they turn blue...

And, thankfully Luke helps me water them!

    Photobucket

    Of course...he also gets silly...

(He was actually saying, "Get in my belly!", while
making this face.  Never a dull moment.)

...and I get silly, too...like lying on the driveway for this one...

    Photography love...
