School was in, the sun was shining and we prepared for a party!
It was a fabulous week for hunting...
1. Diptych
(This was such a fun one for me. I actually made several, but this was my fave.)
2. Book
(I have a collection of old Bibles. They all have special mementos inside from the
original owner, and mean so very much to me.)
3. When I think about how Georgia's weather is in the winter, I just have to SMILE!
(Anybody following me for a while, knows that I so LOVE my lilies.
On the last day of February, they were already 10" tall!)
4. A Taste of Italy
(My mother-in-law is 100% Italian, which means she's beautiful,
loving and a great cook! I never try to do anything authentic,
instead I get creative...and this was really good b/c I had just
visited the farmer's market.)
5. Reminders
(I am all-about reminders...framed photos, scrapbooks, a jar of
ticket stubs, a jar of corks, pressed pennies, etc. I've had such
a blessed life and don't want to forget one thing. Ever. So, when
they poured our pretty brick patio in 2007, we left our mark. We
always knew we'd move from this house (hopefully soon!), but we
made a ton of great memories here and want the house to always
have a little reminder of "us". And, now I'm emotional.)
And, Sunday, the 6th of March is sweet, handsome, charming,
loving Luke's 3rd birthday! We're having a little party at our
home, so it might take me a while to visit with you, but I pray
this day is nothing but wonderful for you and yours. XO!
