My boys ensured that I had a wonderful Mother's Day,
complete with homemade goodies...
(I thought this bouquet was pretty clever, made from coffee filters. Luke
has the sweetest, most creative preschool teacher!)
Do you have Publix in your area? If not, I'm sorry. It's such a great
grocery store, and not because their produce is always perfect...but b/c
the employees truly love their jobs and all of the customers. Well, our
local store partnered with Sam's school to provide an extra special gift
for Mother's Day this year. He bought a frosted heart cake for $6.50,
then decorated it with a store associate. (They provided tons of icing,
decorations and sprinkles.) Didn't it turn out great...
Publix even provided cards that included $6 off our next visit. Can't
beat that delicious and beautiful bargain!

What a sweet idea! You are raising a very thoughtful young man!
I love the cake, and the coffee filter bouquet, and all of your homemade goodies! Your boys are so sweet. We don't have Publix here, but I have heard the name before.
LOVE that we thought alike on the blog title. :))
Love your homemade goodies. And I can't believe that Publix did that! We live in their area. Hubby does the shopping. You better believe he's gonna know this for next year!
Happy Mother's Day!
What sweet boys you have. I think Sam did a great job on the cake. I
♥ publix.

Awww, Luke`s coffee filter flowers are so sweet! :)
So cool that Sam got to decorate a cake for you. The kids told me to give hubby baking lessons so that whenever they want to surprise me, they could get Daddy to bake something!
Very cute!!
What a wonderful thing for Publix to do!! Looks like you enjoyed!
Ps - what are you using for collages now that picnik closed?
