Love it! I used to watch birds all the time. Right now I have not been able to do much bird watching unless I am at my mothers. My dogs run everything off.
How wonderful! lovely image! I would have a hard time leaving that egg there - we've been watching some flickers trying to keep cowbirds out of their hole way up in an old dead tree - it's frustrating to me...
New follower from the good, random fun blog hop! I just put ferns on my front porch for the first time this year. Maybe I will get lucky and have new neighbors there too! Beautiful photos!!
Oh, those cowbirds. I have finally started removing them, as hard as it was to do so... it was easier than finding he original babies hatched and starving. Such a dilemma. Last year I started removing the cowbird eggs from our bluebird boxes and we finally had bluebirds babies for the first time in 3 years. I hope ALL of your babies make it!

We don't have those here in Finland but our European Cuckoo bird does the same thing and uses others nests. :D
How cool is that to have right outside your door!
Wow! Those are beautiful! I've only ever found robins. Happy Mother's day!
