Nice photos...I'm from Columbus, GA myself though I've lived in the San Francisco area for the past 35 years..and have spent 15 months of the past 2 years in India. I did get home for a short two days visit during the January cold this year! Wow.

It strikes me as I look at your pictures that many of us enjoy the same things in life.. companionship of humans and animals, nature, laughter, beauty around us. I saw all of those things in your heartwarming photos.

I agree with Sharon. The first picture of the post is priceless! Love the soft and thoughtful way you have edited and combined your photos to tell your family story. Your style reminds me of the women who photograph 3191 Miles Apart. Do you know this publication? If not, I think you would like it. Love your ability to record moments in such a natural and honest way.
