I can't believe I'm saying this, but I miss the baskets. I still picked up some Cadbury eggs for our son (and one or two may or may not have found their way in my direction). But at this point it is 'hey mom, don't need the sweets, but if you want to slide a few bucks my way ...."). Baskets were always filled with an item of clothing, slippers or sandals, books, a stuffed animal and a few treats.
Looks like the boys scored well.

What an interesting idea, Easter baskets. We only got chocolate for Easter unless the chocolate cam in something like a mug.
