What is this thing you call Moon Sand???

We went to a my-moms-side-of-the-family gathering yesterday after church. It was such a beautiful day, weather-wise. And, it was our first time to show Luke off to that side of the family. (He was his normal sweet and charming self!) Plus, we had some really, really good food. Can't beat it with a stick....as we say down in the south!

Luke received a couple great gifts, and Sam received some Moon Sand. Now, as most of you know, we don't do TV so our knowledge of Moon Sand is a bit limited. However, we figured it out pretty quickly and Sam just had to take a pic of his "castle". It even has a "drop-down-door". I think he did a great job for a 4-year old Moon Sand-novice!

What I know about Moonsand is that it is a million times better than FLOAM (I can't stand that stuff), it is reusable AND cleanable, but, I do make my kids play with it outside. Looks like a great day.

I am just stopping by from SSS to say hi. Luke is so cute. What a handsome little boy. I love the young pic of Sam sleeping. I have an 18 year old son who finished Army Basic Training in Sept and is doing advanced training now. He still looks like a little boy when he is sleeping. And he still drools.

Sam did an awesome job on his castle! I have heard of it before but not experienced it first hand.

I'm glad the family get together went well. I'd have loved to have eaten all that good southern food!

Great pictures!
