Golfing with monsters & Big boy cups

Sam earned a special outing because he was doing really well with his new chore chart. (i.e., making his bed, brushing his teeth twice a day, picking up toys, not whining, etc.) He chose Monster Golf. It was something he had wanted to do for about a year, so he was really looking forward to it. And, I must say, it didn't disappoint!

Here are some pics:

On a completely different note, but equally as exciting...Luke is drinking very well from a "big boy" cup. He still won't take a bottle or traditional sippy cup, but he loves these cups with the built-in straw. He also loves water, just like Sam.

Looks like Sam received his reward very well! And good for your boys drinking water; my kids do too, and it's so much healthier than juice!

Handsome and adorable! Looks like they are very well rounded and loved little guys. Awesome! May the favor of the LORD rest upon them in Jesus Name.

Way to go Sam! Good for you for doing so well on your chores. Dina, I think that not enough parents make their kids do chores and it is such a disservice when kids don't learn. This is a great example for me to remember!

And I love Luke's cup. Oh my goodness! I can't believe he's drinking from a straw. How cute!

My son always loved straws. In fact he still drinks out of them now and he's 5.

Cute pictures of Sam golfing. I'm glad he had fun. It made it worth the wait.

Luke is such a doll. Camryn loves those cups. She never did bottles either. And, both my girls love water. Even at 11 Courtney prefers water to anything else.

Moster Golf? My boys would go crazy for that! You can tell by the look on his face how excited he was to be there.

Great news on the sippy cup. Breaking my youngest of the bottle was tough because he had no interest in the sippy cup.
