Fragmented Freewrite #26

Mommy's Idea

We had a few BEAUTIFUL days here in Ga, and I now have Spring Fever! I picked up some lilies to help. (I shared the orange one with Yaya, too.)

I. Love. Lilies.

**********

I had another extraordinary bargain day. This time at Walmart. I left with $264 worth of boy toys for $19, including Star Wars, Power Rangers and G.I. Joe. All things that Sam LOVES! The Easter Bunny and Santa are set for 2010.

**********

I joined a Valentine swap this year via Audrey's Crafts and I'm already having fun getting my package together. I'm, of course, including some handmade note cards.

**********

We had such a great weekend...a date night, lunch with friends and a trip to Imagine It! in Atlanta with our boys. This weekend will be a bit quieter. That can be a good thing, too.

I might have a chance to catch up on a few projects!

**********

There were many events in the city to honor Dr. King, but I loved this new painting so much that I just wanted to pass it along. It's 125 feet long and the artist recruited volunteers (including kids!) to help. So awesome....

Have a fantastic weekend!

So jealous of your gorgeous weather. I can't believe that we are stuck with 2 more months of ugly, mean, unpredictable winter. Blech!

The Easter Bunny brings presents?! Ours is a chocolate deliveries only rabbit.

We have a Winter Weather Advisory today for freezing rain, sleet and snow...so gazing on those lilies made me feel better. ;)

Holy moly you scored some awesome deals, didn't you? Now if I could score some similar deals with dinosaur stuff, I'd be set. ;)

Have a great weekend! :)

I love lilies...now if I could only figure out how to get the darned things to grow. Our yard is horrible on flowers.

The flowers are gorgeous!

How did you score so many toys for $19?

The painting is great and I love that it was a group effort; it seems more significant that way.

I love when Walmart and Target have their super end of the season clearances. Most of the time I miss them, but we did catch the tail end this year. These are the things that make a mom happy. Kind of funny...but true. Are you a cardmaker/scrapbooker? We'll have to talk. I never have time but always have supplies...
