Around Asheville

Neil swept me away to Asheville as a surprise birthday gift
over the weekend.  It's such a beautiful area...

We loved the Artist District, especially Jonas Gerard's Studio...

He had several maps so that visitors could leave their "mark".
We did...in green...

The studios were in very old buildings, with tons of charm...

Even outside, there was soooo much to see...

I'm so glad you two got away, and what fun to be surprised like that by your sweet husband. The pictures are wonderful. I love exposed brick inside a building, and those mountains/hills are mesmerizing. I'd love to visit that city one day. So pretty! Great shots!

I've only been to Asheville once, and went up to the Cove where Billy Graham's retreat compound is at. Lucky you, what a sweet husband! Happy Birthday... love that first shot of the mountains. Thank you Dina, for sharing on Weekly Top Shot #35.
