Pinterest Success

This week I finally attempted a couple Pinterest projects.

First, I made gift bows.  These looked so easy at 100 Layer Cake,
and I had a few Christmas gifts that I knew they'd be perfect on...

Start with strips of magazine or wrapping paper...
(3 at 11", 3 at 10", 2 at 9" and one at 3 1/2")

Then, loop the strip in on itself to form a figure-8 and secure with tape...
(The smallest strip will be the center loop.)

Stack the strips on top of each other at various angles, largest to
smallest and you'll have...

I just love how this one turned out...

I also loved these cute reindeer thumbprint cards that Jill
Dubien came up with for her family, so I had the boys make them...
(I scanned them in and embellished them via Pic Monkey.)

I turned them into Thank You notes...
(Printed on card stock.)

I also used Luke's for gift tags, since he wanted to give his classmates
a little something at their party this week...

You're so clever and crafty -- with all the writing and artmaking I'm doing, I think about doing stuff like you're doing and just throw my hands up in the air. I can barely stand the idea of wrapping gifts.

Those thumbprint cards are too cute! Giving me an idea for next year's cards, only with doggy paws. :)

These are some great ideas Dina! I need to make a few cards for people I did't expect to pick up cards for this year so this idea is perfect. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas.
