Birthday Boys

We finally had Sam's "official" birthday party.  It was
at a fun glow-in-the-dark bowling alley near our home.
The kids had a great time, but it was nearly impossible
to get good photos b/c of the lighting...or lack there of.

I snapped this one of the brothers when we first arrived...

I made little trophies for each of the bowlers to take home...

Then, just a few days later, Luke turned 5!

He loved every second, but especially his brownie sundae...

Hopefully, we'll get his "official" party in within a month...or two...

What a handsome pair you have there! I am getting ready to celebrate my oldest son's 16th! Oh my, I'm getting old. Happy birthday to both of yours!

The trophies are the bomb! I love them. I went to an Oscar party a few weeks back and she gave trophies too! It makes for a very special event when the hostess does this.

That looks like a perfect gathering! I love the trophy idea. I would have brought home the gutterball one! I bet Luke had a great time. Being 5 is such a big deal!

Handsome boys! :)

Hahaha, so I am not the only one doing "official" birthday parties after the birthdays. :) Z's is coming up and I know I won't be able to get hers in time for the actual day, but I might plan it for the week after.

I love that you made trophies for the kids. The last photo cracked me up I am pretty sure I would have made similar faces for a brownie sundae lol

You know we're in the same boat about an official party for Boyd, although we are probably wrapping it all into Easter Sunday and calling it a birthday for this year. :) I love the first picture of the boys together, and those trophies are so great!
