There are always so many things to be done.
Your clothes are ready, your backpack is too.
Your classroom is full of fun things you will do.
Lots of questions go through your mind,
All types of thoughts of every kind.
But sometimes we all get the jitters down deep.
And that makes it hard to fall fast asleep.
So I've made this magic confetti for you,
Full of promises for the whole year through.
On Tuesday night when you lay down your head,
Just sprinkle some under your pillow in bed.
The confetti will help you sleep through the night.
And wake up in the morning fresh and bright
I'll sprinkle the confetti under my pillow, too
Because I am so super excited to see you!
Sweet Dreams!

OH MY WORD...this is such an adorable idea for a teacher to do....must remember to share this!
This is SO sweet!! I mean it, I'm crying here!!!
My younger son (5 years and 8 months) will start his pre-school at kindergarden next week. I'm so scared! He is my baby!!! He has been with me at home this far.
Oh Dina, this is the sweetest! If I was a kindergarten teacher, I would steal this idea. I love it!
good morning, dina! i just fixed my linky tool... would you care to come back and link your post again?? thanks so much!
ps: love these first days of school... they go SO quickly... xo
Adorable. What a fun teacher!
=)
that is so sweet!
I have a feeling that your Luke is in for a wonderful year!
No peeking ... Oh How I adore this idea!
I taught K-1 for many a year and think this is delightful...wish I had thought of it! As another mentioned before me, I think your Luke is in for a most special year. A teacher that cares before she even knows the children is topnotch.
Caring through Christ, ~ linda
mmm ... let's hear it for creative teachers!
;-}
Love it!
THAT is so sweet and special! I'm sure you know that I drive a 40' transit style 78 passenger school bus... and the night before the first day of school, I'm usually filled with so much excitement (and fear of not hearing the alarm clock at 04:00) that I hardly sleep a wink... Wishing your children a great year! Thanks for sharing on WTS this week!
What a wonderful teacher...Sharing this on my Circles Of Faith facebook page!
How sweet!
