Fun! I have fun memories of skating parties from when I was that age!
Skating is so fun and I'm with you. I'd probably wince watching the kids bust it.
Every time I would skate I would fall on my tailbone and it would hurt badly every time. I can't imagine how much worse it would be now to fall.
Looks like everyone had fun!
I vividly remember learning to roller-skate and once learned, the joy and freedom of gliding around the rink to pop music. My children didn't find it as much fun (well, my daughter didn't - had a horrible fall and she bruises easily - plus a drama queen ...).
Fun stuff. My kids never learned to roller skate. They were too into skateboards at the time.

I was much better at ice skating, so many fun memories of flooded and iced over tennis courts!
Roller skating in my shoe skates was my favorite thing to do with my best friend in grade school. Looks like you all had a fun time on wheels!
You don't see skates of this type much anymore. Was fun as a kid although I broke my wrist at a slumber party/skate party.

We did a lot of roller skating as kids. There was a roller rink in town and we had several birthday parties at the rink.
Glad your boys had fun!
