Egg Prep

If you follow my blog, you know that we use "faux" eggs for our
Easter egg coloring, each year...

I was so excited to get this dozen at Walmart.  (In the past, I purchased them at Hobby Lobby.)
I didn't have to make a special trip, plus they don't open and are a rougher texture!

So, as we've always done, we crumpled up aluminum foil and added in some pretty
acrylic paints...plus a little glitter, for fun...

(Oh, and I painted a few solid metallic silver beforehand.)

It really is so exciting to see how they turn out...

Hope you have an egg-stroidinary week!

That is so awesome! I've never heard of faux eggs before... not even sure we have them here. We either use boiled eggs or -gasp! - plastic eggs (with goodies inside).

Beaitiful technique . . . and you don't have all those real eggs to eat. Nicely photographed.
