You might remember the sweet little Finch eggs that are nested
in one of the ferns on our front porch. I spied on them the other
day and all have hatched into tiny, sparsely feathered babes.
Their Mama is spending just about all of her time with them,
but Dad just comes for short visits...
And, I can't help but show off this famous fowl near our home...

oh such cuties! when we lived in georgia (walton county) every year, without fail, i'd put my ferns out on the porch and a bird would build a nest in one lol....i've seen that famous sign in pictures but never actually saw it in person while we were there! it's very cool!
