Review and Giveaway: JumpStart.com

We recently had the opportunity to try Jump Start, which includes educational software and an on-line virtual world, perfect for children ages 3-10.

Sam was hooked immediately! In fact, this is how I've seen him most days. (I couldn't even get on the computer to check e-mail.) He loves it!

Jump Start comes from the team at Knowledge Adventure. Since 1991, they've been a leader in educational software for the home and classroom. They believe in "blending learning and entertainment", and I have to say that I agree.

Sam is a creative thinker, like myself, so AdventureLand really appealed to him! (I loved Ghost Town Grab because it's a bit old-school.)

JumpStart.com is a membership website. (They do offer a 10-day FREE trial.) It's $7.99 per month for unlimited play, which is "super-personalized, wildly imaginative and really fun", while your child learns math, reading and more. It's also age appropriate, so that the little ones don't become frustrated.

The graphics are amazing and include countless adventures. They are even coming out with a brand new one called "MarineLand", which includes swimming with mermaids!

Software is also available.
It's age appropriate, and as Sam put it, "...a ton of fun!"

Sam and I both loved the fun graphics. And, when we had a question on a game, Customer Service responded to our email super fast...and with pictures. Can't beat that.

Parents will enjoy great features like the JumpStart Blog and discussion forum. Both offer great kid-tips!

In the end, we both give JumpStart.com TWO THUMBS UP because they meet 5 out of 5 on our list!!

1. Tons of fun
2. Lots of learning
3. Reasonably priced
4. Kid and Mom friendly
5. Great customer service

Now YOU can get in on the fun. The fine people at Knowledge Adventure are offering a FREE 3-month trial at JumpStart.com.

Just leave me a comment saying that you would love to try JumpStart and you are entered into the contest. (If you follow me, you can have a second entry, but please remind me of that in a 2nd comment.)

And, this contest is open to non-blogging families, too. If you don't have a profile, please leave an anonymous comment, including your name and email address.

Contest closes July 10, 2009. Winner will be chosen randomly.

I don't have little ones at home anymore but my adult daughter has two little ones. Looks like something that would bless them.

Love the photos of your son.

Thanks precious for your comment on my blog today. Very encouraging. Love and hugs.

Would love to win these for Blake. His sister isn't too far behind him on learning the ropes on the computer too. Thanks for the chance to win!
