Friday's Free-4-all

During her visit, my mother-in-law bought me this beautiful
plant.  I love that the pink blooms are so different for this
time of year.  It really stands out in my kitchen.

I really love that both of my boys are so creative.  Mainly
b/c it means that they are easily entertained.  Take
for instance a couple empty boxes waiting to go out
into the recycle bin.  They will spend ours playing in,
on and around those boxes.

And, of course, Max had to get in on the fun!

What an interesting looking flower. It is so pretty. :-)

I remember how much I loved boxes when I was younger. My mom used to get large ones at least once a month and my brother and I used to love to cut them up and make houses etc. As for the cat, I have one that has to be into every box (no matter how small) that she encounters. It is too funny! :-)

Why am I not surprised that your cat went in there?! LOL

I love these pictures. Were you professionally trained?

The boys in the box remind me of the song "send myself to you." So much fun!

Beautiful depth of field in the image of the flowers. And I love that photo of the cat in the box!

Gorgeous flowers!

I love that your boys create their own fun. More kids should be like that instead of finding fun in an electric box, like a Nintendo DS or a Wii.

Great pictures. The flowers are gorgeous - what a nice treat! And an empty box just begs for the imagination to run wild. Who needs toys???

Great shots! Yes, sometimes they like the box more, than what's in it...

Great kids-in-box pics! That is the best when they're easily entertained like that!

Who needs presents when you have boxes? I love how the simplest things can be the best toys.

We have a tabby mix named Max (Maximus) too!

I love watching how creative they get when I give my kids boxes and markers. Amazing things begin to take shape!

What is it about a box? I have no idea but my grand daughter LOVES them. Loved all your photos, you can see the joy in them (though the cat looked a tad bit irritated about being photographed!)
