Weekend Wrap-up

We're doing a lot around the house these days, but
couldn't be cooped up the whole weekend...so we
walked down to our neighborhood "Towne Green".
(The soccer/lacrosse fields and picnic area.)

Sweet Shot Day

There, Sam kicked a ball around...a lot...

...occasionally throwing it...

Photobucket

And, Sam specifically took that blue ball down so
Luke would kick it around with him.  Of course, all
Luke wanted to do is "race Mama"...

He always wins!

SO fun! My grandkids and I are counting the seconds for the rain to disappear and the ground to dry so we can head back outside for ball and tag activities for grandparents and grandchildren. They always beat me too. :)

Sounds like one of those great weekend! My husband is a soccer aficionada, so every now and then he kicks the ball around too.

Looks like a beautiful weekend. Great way to spend it - outdoors. My oldest is tired of winter now and at school they've started playing soccer during the breaks. On the icy yard!

I laughed when I saw Luke's rain boots... you can put those away for a few or 9 months, eh??! *sigh* Our kids sometimes wore their rain boots in the summer... always cracks me up!! Now they wear their snow boots everywhere... and I have to make rules about when they can wear them!!

Hope the work is going well.. maybe you could take a vaca... and come motivate us when you are done!! snicker snicker!
