1. Give me flowers!
(It was such a cold winter for GA that only one
of my dyanthus survived. It's FULL of lovely
pink blooms now, tho!)
2. Visual Contrast
(Sam had Field Day on Wednesday and earned
a bright blue ribbon. I so love that his school
doesn't base the ribbons solely on performance,
the winning students have to show great
sportsmanship, as well.)
3. Friendship
(Lots of fun friends to play with at the park.)
4. Before & After
(I added a yellow rose to my garden this year
and I already love it!)
5. Dark
(We recently had a very dark day when we
found this sweet little bird in our garage. He

I am stuggling with this awful-duvet-dilemma over at Spots and Wrinkles! :)
Talk to you soon.
Terrific photos! I love the play at the park and all the beautiful flowers! Great photo of the bird feet, though sad "dark" interpretation.
the first is awesome and the flower is pretty. I love the before/after of the 3rd!
That dark shot is AMAZING!
I had a dead bird on my back porch yesterday. It made me so sad.

PS. I think Ben Franklin got it right, by the way...
Your flower shot is soooo pretty.. And love your Before and after shot.. I also just found a dead bird in my backyard.. I snap a shot of him but it didn't turn out.. Yours looks great..
Poor little bird. :(
The first shot is so beautiful! Love the before and after too. Great job!
Firstly congratulations to Sam and I love that friendship one and the detail in your dark prompt. Those claws do look interesting though it's a pity about the bird - I'm sure the kids were not too happy about that.
Great shots! Love the before and after of the rose - nice timing on that!!
Your photos are amazing!! Amazing! Love them all! Also love that quote that you used. It's so true.
Great pictures--such stories in each one!
While those tiny claws are wonderful, I am in love with your friendship shot. Fantastic - should be a poster.
How awesome to get a ribbon! :-) I love playing at the park... with or without kids!
Yikes on the bird Dina- amazing that with that happening you thought to pull out the camera. I absolutely love your before & after- one of those things where I bang my head against the wall & say "why didn't I think of that" :)
love the light and silhouette on the climbing shot!!
Holy cow....this are all amazing shots. That friends shot is perfect for a card to a friend. I love them all....even the the bird feet.

Love the photos and love the stories. What a striking series. Great shots. Hope you have a nice week.
WOW... esp. the bird details! =)
The crow is one powerful image. It begs to be in B&W.
Interesting series... I wish I could join in on Scavenger Hunt Sunday but I swear my life is in an uproar right now... I do enjoy coming here to check out your Macro Monday post and then finding a bonus with the other images that are part of the Scavenger Hunt Sunday series... I particularly like the yellow roses and the silhouette image of children playing along with the perfect quote to go with it! (as for dark, enough sadness in my life right now so I found it hard to view... BUT that means the photograph spoke to me which is good)
Ah, poor little birdie!
It is nature's way and it was certainly a way for Sam to learn a little about birds.
And, all your entries are super for the hunt!
Carletta's Captures
Sadly, something like 90,000 birds die from window strikes each year, in NYC alone.

Have a great week!
Glad to be following you...

I love all your shots. Give me flower is stunning and the dark, really hit the spot.
Dina, I think you are the queen of white/bright color contrast! :) Thanks so much for participating in Exploring with a Camera.
Wow...they are all so great. But I especially love the last three. Awesome.
I love the yellow rose. So pretty! Also the silhouette is fantastic, and would definitely be a great framed print! Your photos are always so beautiful, and so inspirational to me.
