...that's what memories are made of! Well, at least in the book,
I really love to put my memories in books and boxes.
Scrapbooks from college, my trip to Europe, my 1st
year with Neil, and of course, my babies fill our book
shelves...alongside memory boxes with special travel
mementos...oh, and jars of special sea shells. Not
to mention ALL OF THE PHOTOS.
So, when BookSneeze sent me The Elemental
Journal, I was super excited. It not only has a ton
of creative "memory keepers", but it's all about
recycling, reusing and repurposing, which makes
my wheels start turning. And, I love that it suggests
so many "natural findings" because that makes Sam's
wheels start turning. (That boy LOVES any rock
and every rock, for sure.) My faves are the uses for
old fabric scraps, like this "Pocket Full of Love"...

This would make a sweet Thank You after a party.
The detailed photos and instructions are wonderful...
Most of all, tho, this book has inspired us to "search"
for little treasures during our routine outings. That's
creative learning at it's best, in my opinion!
***I received this book free of charge from BookSneeze, in exchange for an
honest review. My words are my own and were not influenced in any manner.

(Okay, I just read Tamar's comment above and realized that mine looks like it's copied from hers!)

What a great idea! I must have tons of old keepsakes floating around my place. Making them into a book of sorts it's on my neverending list of things to do :)
Sounds like a keeper!
