One of my very favorite pastimes! I spent many an hour fishing with my dad on the banks of the pond by our house! These are wonderful photos for memories! These boys will grow up way too fast!
These photos make it look so peaceful - the perfect way to get away from the craziness of life.
Love seeing all of your boys here! What a beautiful lake, and what a blessing to have that in your neighborhood.
As you know we have a lake at our backdoor (since you've been here :)) but wow does that lake look big and beautiful. I see your son caught a fish! Yeah!Good family time!!!
that place look just perfect!
Wonderful warm tones, I like that a lot. The place looks so peaceful and the quote with it is perfect. Have a beautiful day.Love,Alexandra
I absolutely love that first shot!
Beautiful.......very lovely work!!
These are beautiful and the still mirror images in the water attest to the patience of the "fishermen" ;)
So glad summe is ending on a cooler note for you all and you've been able to enjoy time outside!!
What a beautiful place to fish!
Lovely series. Beautiful processing on the lat shot.
How nice that the boys get to do that at a nearby lake. We have plenty of people fishing down at the seaside where we live, but I never felt inclined to try... don't think I'd have the patience to just sit there and wait for the fishies to nibble. Haha!
I love these all, but that first shot is my favorite! I love your processing too; they sort of have a vintage feel to them :o)
So lovely! What a great spot! Joining you from Sweet shot Tues.
What sweet place to capture memories. Thank you for sharing your family moments with us.
I grew up on a river. These shots make me want to go back. Love how you captured the reflection of the trees in the lake.
Brought back memories of our boys and their dad fishing. Lovely. Valerie
I know they had fun. Love your photos!
we love fishing on our little neighborhood lake, too! great pics!
Lovely nature shots! The colors are beautiful and that is great. Thank you for sharing and linking up with Tones on Tuesday!
Wonderful captures of the end of summer! The blue of the boys' shirts is perfect with the greenery all around them.
Looks like the perfect way to spend the end days of summer!
Such a great way to spend some time! I love the reflection on the water.http://theapels.blogspot.com/2012/08/three-books-ill-never-throw-away.html
What a beautiful place to fish! (Love the reflections you captured, too.) I never was a patient fisherman. ;-)
I'm not much for fishing, but I love to sit by the water and watch. Fun shots of the boys, Dina.
oh that looks like so much fun for the boys!
Reminds me of the opening shots of Andy Griffith.
You take some great pics Lady! x
looks like a perfect place to spend time with family
