Fall Hike

Friday was touted as our last "warm" day of 2012, so the
boys and I decided to spend the afternoon exploring a local
battle site from the Civil War.  It's a lovely trail...

We've never actually walked the trail except at the mountain. We should. I totally Instagram stalked you when I saw familiar location pictures. I think we are "neighbors".

Your first shot is just lovely - how wonderful that would look enlarged on a room wall.

Great photography! My favourites are the second (i love the textures you have highlighted in the grass) and sixth (because of movement and effects of light). And I love the last one with those happy, energetic boys!

Thank you Dina! (for saying my family is cute) Just wanted to say that isn't it great to see beauty and art in nature's gifts and to preserve it in photo? You have a gift.

Isn't it great when you get to have a fun time with the kids AND get some great photos, too? :)
