Callaway Gardens -- Ida Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel

Growing up, we called this The Chapel in the Woods,
but it's really the Ida Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel...

You do have to go deep into the woods to find it,
accessible only by foot or bicycle...

It's definitely worth it, tho...

They still hold service every Sunday, too!

What a delight to see! It's a beautiful structure that seems well-loved and cared-for. I do like that quote, too!

A hidden gem -- the stained glass certainly would be worth the trip alone.

The stone exterior is so beautiful, and then the stained glass -- so bright and impressive. That's an unusual design for stained glass, I think. What a lovely chapel!
