My View

So, I'm still catching up and trying to ensure that the boys have plenty of summer
fun, as we only have 2 more weeks before school starts.  I haven't gotten my camera
out one single time, and I gotta say...it's been nice.

So, here's a shot from our beach trip in June.  I never shared it...

(I had my Canon D waterproof, so I was standing out in the ocean.)

Really nice shot - Great perspective from out in the water. And absolutely captures that summer day mood - the light, the editing. It has a hint of an old-time postcard feel...which makes it timeless! Love it!

Beautiful beach shot - it looks so vintage. I would be scared to death to take my 5d in the water....even waterproofed!!

Hope you are enjoying your summer, Dina. It is going way too fast over here - I'm not ready for August to be here! I love your beach shot - it looks so relaxing.

Cool colors!
Your photo looks like an image out of the 1970th with the faded colors... ;-)
I'm looking forward to going to the seaside as well soon!
Regards from Germany, Uwe.

Your treatment of the photo gives it a wonderful vintage feel. Love the colors. I've been leaving my camera on the counter this summer….but not by choice!

That is brave, I think that much water would still make me nervous

Great shot. That's not Southern California ocean. The water is too cold there for that many people to be out in the water. Love how the colors of the water and buildings blend so well together.

Love your beachy shot. Enjoy the last of your summer holidays. It is strange to think it is summer there and winter over here.
