Friday Frags #33

We had beautiful GA weather...and then rain...and more rain...

My tan is fading!! :o)

Mommy's Idea

I received my book-swap package and couldn't be happier! I have such a varied taste with books, plus I am way behind since Luke's birth. This stack means so much...

Even tho she's sticking out her tongue, Molly is looking forward to some snuggled-up-reading!

That frag makes me think to ask...does anyone have
The Kindle? It looks so neat and I really like all-things Amazon.

Luke LOVES Playdough.

This week he was sitting at his little table playing "dough-dough", when all of a sudden he said, "Mama! Mama! Tritmas tree!!" When I peaked into the playroom, I discovered that he did indeed make a Christmas tree...

**********

Soccer starts up again tomorrow. Oh, the joy! Sam couldn't be more excited, especially after the fall season was (literally) washed out by the Kennesaw flood. He is still a "crocodile". (It's fun to say, "GOOOOO, Crocs!") He did, however, need new cleats. 6-year old boys have feet that never stop growing. Seriously.

OH...HOW I LOVE JACK JOHNSON!!
This song is just so great...

Luke had a GREAT birthday! (Thank you for all of the sweet comments and emails.) We spent pretty much the entire day celebrating and then he slept well. He also had to take an extra-early-and-long nap on Sunday. Gotta love that!

If you didn't see photos from the special day, click
HERE and HERE.

Mary Josephine Ray, the New Hampshire woman who was certified as the oldest person living in the United States, has died at age 114 years, 294 days.

God bless Mary Josephine. (LOVE that name!)
Hope I can see just a fraction of all that she saw.

Hope your enjoying March 2010!

I love the Tritmas tree!
My mom just gave me The Last Song, she said it was wonderful. I'm reading it after I finish Shutter Island. My cats always lay on top of my book when I try to read though!

Oooh, a book swap sounds like fun! I just paid my library fines so I brought home a new stack myself.

Glad Luke had a good birthday!

The Christmas tree- the boy is an artiste!

Molly is also very excited about the new soccer season starting. She was so sad when the last season was washed out. Hopefully tomorrow's games won't be rained out. We'll probably see you on the soccer fields.

It seems like my kids need new cleats every season too! Luckily Grant can usually wear the hand me downs from Henry! We are starting tball right now!

As a librarian, I just can do the Kindle. I think the idea is great but I need that book in my hand. I think it's psychological. :-) I have two friends who love theirs though...

This rain is getting old, wouldn't you say? Our creek is flooded AGAIN. I want some sunshine!

Have a lovely weekend. Stay dry!

I've been looking at kindles and the other versions, too. Asus is supposed to have their reader out later this year and they say it will be cheaper than the kindle. We'll see!

Oh, that pile of books looks heavenly to me! I love to read as well. I have not tried the Kindle yet, I'd love to get my hands on one and play with it.
Don't you just love the creations that kids come up with? I should post pictures of our latest art projects sometime.
Thanks for the visit. Please do join me for the green giveaway, the more the merrier!

I love Nicholas Sparks. I have and am still reading his books.

That's cute what Luke did and said. You took a picture too like a good blogging parent should.

I never heard of Jack Johnson before. Nice voice.

I agree, and hope I see a fraction of her time.

Happy FF weekend.

I've been wondering about a Kindle myself...I would certainly get a lot of use out of it, but I'm just not sure if it would be the same as holding the book in your hands and smelling the pages (okay, I'm realizing here that I sound a little insane with my reading, but I just can't help it!)

Love the Christmas tree! Very cute!

I also love to read. I haven't tried a kindle and I don't really want to because I just love books. But I can see a lot of advantages.

The christmas tree is so sweet! Good luck wit your soccer season. We just started our lacrosse season and only have 28 games to go!
Have a great weekend!

I so want a Kindle.

I have been a mom 6 years and I work childcare at church and I STILL have a major aversion to Play-Doh!!!

Fun fragments. The tristmas is awesome. Seriously, it is so cool and a great pic. Sorry about all the rain. Personally, I love a rainy day, but a rainy week, month or season, not so much. Happy day!!

That is one of the most beautiful Christmas trees I've ever seen.

glad you'll be enjoying your books. I wish I had a Kindle. Wouldn't be able to afford books for a few years if I bought one though LOL

Love the Tritmas tree, even it if does remind me of Caution's post about what her friend was doing while she was talking to her on the phone (and I don't me decorating!haha)

Looks like a nice variety of books; I hope you get to read them all in due time :)
