Friday Fragments and Fotos

It's time, once again, to look back on the week and smile.

I have a lot that I need to do.  A lot.  However, I'm really just in a crafty mood,
and we love getting crafty around here...

Luckily, Ashley chose the "arts & crafts" theme for this week's photo challenge.

It was fun looking for just the right pic, which by the way, is this one...

Sam's finger-snowmen, 2009

I am so ready for Halloween...or at least, the build-up to Halloween.  The boys are
going to be so cute this year and I'm kinda going all out.  Sure hope we have good
weather on October 31st!  There's a bunch of photos I want to snap.

Thank you so much for all of the kind comments and emails about my friends that
buried their son on Saturday.  It was definitely the saddest and most beautiful memorial
I've attended.  It consisted of a bunch of letters to the 7-year old and a musical tribute.
Then we capped it off with a balloon release.  200 balloons, each with a special message
or prayer handwritten by the attendees.  Really lovely.

I dearly love Etsy.  In fact, I don't really go on there much these days b/c I always find
something I want.  Always.  I mean, how great are these handmade gems...

Necklace     Sweater    Plates

This week I hit 500 posts!  It's hard to believe that I had that much to say and show.  Wow.

Enjoy your weekend to the fullest, and click HERE to read more fragments!

Congrats on 500 posts. That is awesome! Love that snowman ornament. Snow men are my favorite things about winter.

Oh, I have to say, those pottery dishes are wonderful. I love Etsy. I bought nearly all of my gifts last year from Etsy or from my local craft fair.

500!! Congrats!

The fingerprint snowman ornament is the cutest thing ever. Can I turn back the clock and make my 21 year old 5 so that I can have him make one?

I love fall/Halloween decorations too!
Have a great weekend!

I love browsing Etsy, though it makes me sad that I don't have the talent or the patience to do my own crafting. Your snowman ornament is just too cute!

I love Halloween! Can't wait to pull out the decorations.

I just love the Christmas ball! I don't feel so bad now that I started Christmas shopping last week. I am not ready for Halloween though. I feel like I lost the whole summer so I have to quickly do some beach and road trips to make up for it.
Have a great week!

I love your arts and crafts photos. I don't shop on Etsy but I am tying to get my mother-in-law to open up an Etsy shop. She is very talented at sewing.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend losing her little boy. I just can not imagine having to bury a child that young. She must be going through a lot right now. I'll keep her in my prayers.

I hit 500 too recently. I am thankful I've been able to preserve some family memories through my blog. And read a few other ones along the way... like YOURS! Always a great read.

It's always more fun to be crafty than to do the things we HAVE to do. Great post.

My heart breaks for your friends.

Kaish is getting less and less into halloween every year. It makes me so sad. Why oh why did he have tp grow up?
