Happy Home

All of these (and more) make me smile often...

"She's MY Mama!"

"I wish my arms were long enough to touch you forever."

"Can I give you a big hug and kiss?"

I love that our home is filled with laughter, comfort and praise.
I love that all 4 of us sit in the floor and play with Lego bricks for hours.
And, I really love that we say "I love you" out of the blue, A LOT...even Luke.
(Sooo cute!)

It's not perfect, but it is a happy home.

I can't leave out my sweet kitties!

Sweet, sweet post! LOL at that first pic of Luke. That's a common "look" with J and we'd all immediately launch into "Somebody call 9-1-1, everybody on the dance floor!" whenever we'd catch him "dialling." =)

Thanks so much for showing me some love over at Becky's! xoxo

The only perfect home would be the one God has reserved for us in heaven, so yours is as good as it can be here on this earth... have a blessed weekend!

That's so cute. We say 'I love you' a lot here too. As a child I never learned how to say that, but I think I am making up for that big time now ;-)

Oh, I love this post! It sounds like you have the kind of home that every kid deserves.

That first shot, by the way, is perrrrrfection.

Tezzie said...

So sweet...just reading your post makes me happier <3.

At our house, I also make sure the kids get cuddled and told they're loved many times every day...and they're getting really good at returning lovely worded sentiments (and their hugs are, without a doubt, the best things in the whole world :D) Hubby, on the other hand, isn't so good with all of that, but at least 3 out of 4 family members do their best to make it a happy and loving home! (in his defense, he DOES contribute to love and happiness in his own way...he's just not good with 'mushy stuff'.)

Run DMT said...

That is simply lovely. Isn't cuddling just because the best?
