We often have mild temps in the winter, but seldom do
we see the trees bud this early...

My husband and I were just commenting on the gazillion buds we see on our Bradford pear tree. I'll looking forward tot he pretty blooms but I wish we would've had more of a winter.

It's nice see the trees coming back to life...although I must say I am such a fan of leafless trees.

Such hopeful shots. The buds on the trees, yes spring will be here soon. Love that sun flare!

Beautiful pictures! I especially adore those blue skies. It's in the low 80s here today, and it has made me all kinds of happy. I never really understood moods due to the weather, until I got older, and it has affected me, both positively and negatively. Anyway, great shots. Hope your day is good.

Our budding out seems to be normal for Seattle.. having spotted my first bush full of pussy willows mid-January... and I saw the first flowering cherry in bloom the other day... Thank you for joining in 'Rurality Blog Hop #1' Hope to see you next Wednesday for #2...

I have been thinking the same thing. I have never seen buds in January. Makes me wonder what will happen if we do get any freezing weather. These are so neat and hold the promise of Spring to come.
