I'm holding my breath with excitement -- buds and blossoms! Actually, I've seen a few cherry trees putting on their pink party dresses in my neighborhood. Sad, because there's snow in the forecast overnight. They need to put on fur coats and mittens!
Ooh, pretty pretty! I always love it when the new flowers appear --especially on trees that are still 'leaf-less' from winter. There's something so... er, hopeful about that. :)

i agree, dina! it always happens so quickly! i was admiring our daffodils, and now, i am sitting here looking out over a crazy snowfall on this, our first day of spring break!!

Gorgeous!! Our trees are still nekkid. Which is probably for the best since it snowed today. Sigh.
My world, too, is filled with blooming orchards exploding with palest pink blossoms. And like your world, it seems to happen overnight.
