Celebrate Late

We had a very soggy 4th of July in Atlanta, so our
local fireworks display was postponed until September.

Better late than never, right...

I have never heard of postponing fireworks this late in the year...there is always a first. Too fun☺

Can't imagine doing that, but fireworks are always fun, right?

I'm so glad you got to get the late fireworks. We missed the make up date, too. Your captures are so great and maybe it was a tad cooler doing these late!

Stop the truck! Fireworks in September? I LOVE it. I think you guys in Georgia are so flippin' cool. I got to see one of my best friends from Georgia this weekend at the I heart faces conference. It was AWESOME!

Glad you got to see them.

The weather was likely more enjoyable this time of year. :)

That is a heck of a rain delay - but as you said, better late than never and I suspect as Nancy pointed out, it was probably more comfortable outside so more enjoyable.

Late kis a good way to go. You aren't saturated with all the others. Great shots.

Love shots of fireworks -- they're more challenging to capture that it would seem. And like Kim said, it's always a good time for fireworks. (And hummingbirds. . . one just landed on the treetop outside my home office window.)
