A Southern Snow

So, last week I shared our lone snowflake, and low-and-behold we got
more snow and ice in Georgia...

We are pool-weather people, but it's always exciting to see a little of the white stuff!

With that said, I could barely get the boys outside.  Luke finally agreed,
but wouldn't change out of his PJs...

I hear ya, we are pool loving people too--living in Germany. Too bad I don't like to ski.

Beautiful diamond sparkle… I'm glad you and your family are enjoying this special treat!

The first one looks like diamonds! I'm still jealous of your snow. I told Jack we needed to move back towards our home grounds.

I shared some Southern snow shots this week, too. Can't wait to be able to share some Southern springtime photos!

Love the diamond sparkle in that first shot. Luke looks great in his snow outfit!

I'm guessing it gets old fast when you get snow in the South. We had one "session" of about 10 inches of snow and freezing temps that lasted only two or three weeks. Now we're having unseasonable weather and very little snow in the mountains--totally out of character here.

Great shots. The kids here hate to stay inside, but I guess that's because if they stayed in, they would be in for months at a time! Winter in Canada is a long season.

Great images of the ice and snow ,must be a rare sight in Georgia. We had enough of it here in Switzerland and hoping for the spring to come now.

No snow so far in south central Alabama, but there is a slight chance for freezing rain tomorrow night! Hope not! Now Luke is obviously not a lover of winter weather! :)

Although we are used to snow and ice this winter has been unusually bad and long. When I think "south" snow or ice is not in my mind. Great shots!

Wonderful images, Dina! I don't like changing out of my PJ's either, lol! So warm and cozy!

Why is something so pretty in photographs such a pain when getting to work? Very gorgeous photos.

Beautiful close-up shots. Glad I'm not in that weather though.

Snow does make for some great photos! I'm pretty sure I'd opt for something warmer than PJs if i were him.

I know how you feel...I almost took my kids out of school for the slight dusting we got in Texas. It wasn't even as much as you got...

http://wacomom.blogspot.com/2015/02/do-fishes-get-cold-in-snow.html

A few years back we got some really good snow (for Texas...like a few inches that stayed several days). But we haven't gotten anything that stuck to the ground save the snow last week for, I think, the last three winters. My kids are wanting real snow so bad. Might get some this next week...I hope!

Beautiful icicles. PJ's in the snow . . . that's the way to show who you are.
